Isaiah 14:12-15
O Lucifer, son of the morning!
How you are cut down to the ground,
You who weakened the nations!
For you have said in your heart:
I will ascend into heaven,
I will exalt my throne above the stars of God;
I will also sit on the mount of the congregation
On the farthest sides of the north;
I will ascend above the heights of the clouds,
I will be like the Most High.’
Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol,
To the lowest depths of the Pit.
The very first challenge to Gods Power, Authority, Sovereignty and Love. Lucifer who was once Gods anointed Cherub somehow steps out of his place and begins to think he is the source of his own life and glorious appearance. Pride rises up and Lucifer challenges the very throne of The Almighty. Lucifer also leads others into rebellion who also suffer the same fate as he. Isn’t that what he did in The Garden, and isn’t that what he is still doing today? Lucifer, now Satan, has been pushing and prodding mankind since the beginning to follow in his footsteps of rebellion and pride.
When The Lord instructs us to worship Him and declare that He is good and His mercy endures forever, He isn’t doing that out of a sense of need for Himself. When He commanded the children of Israel to continually reverence and lift up His Name, He wasn’t doing it because He needs anything or is lacking anything in some way. We hold fast to His Word that declares that He is Good, He is Love, He is caring, He is ALIVE, because it is The Truth.
The enemy never stops trying to tell the world and even the church that God is not fair, that He doesn’t care, that He is the one that kills steals and destroys. Satan is the cause of all pain and hurt, sickness and death in the world. Fallen man in his sin, lust and steals, kills and destroys and they then ask why does God let this happen.
Of all the assignments Satan has sent out, I believe this is the chief one, to point the finger of blame at God and challenge His Throne of Grace and Love. We will combat this assignment with The Word of TRUTH, concerning our Gods Love! Praise Jesus!
Deuteronomy 7:6-9
“For you are a holy people to the LORD your God; the LORD your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth.
The LORD did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any other people, for you were the least of all peoples; but because the LORD loves you, and because He would keep the oath which He swore to your fathers, the LORD has brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you from the house of bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
“Therefore know that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments;
Isn’t is awesome to know that God chose us. After all, we are the seed of Abraham in Christ. The blessings, the covenant that God made with Abraham, He made to us through Christ Jesus! And what does verse 8 say?: but because the LORD loves you.
God made His covenant with you long before you ever took your first breath on this earth. He was faithful to keep it, from century to century, millennium to millennium and from generation to generation. He chose you, He made covenant with you, He loved you, and in the fullness of time, He redeemed you. The Love of God is not the emotion that man operates from most of the time. The Love of God is covenant, it is faithfulness, it is loyalty, it is devotion to your well being. He is Love, to deny His Love for you, would be to deny Himself. Praise be to Jesus and The Father of our LORD Jesus Christ!
John 3:14-17(Amplified)
And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert [on a pole], so must [so it is necessary that] the Son of Man be lifted up [on the cross], In order that everyone who believes in Him [who cleaves to Him, trusts Him, and relies on Him] may not perish, but have eternal life and [actually] live forever!
For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.
For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge (to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him.
If there was ever a doubt about The Love of God, it is settled right here. God so greatly LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE. What did He give? A half offering, a small gift? No, He gave all He could possibly give. God Himself became man and gave His very own life for the world. I don’t think our human minds can grasp the value of what God did for us in Jesus.
He literally could not have given anymore than what He gave. He not only gave His only begotten son, whom He greatly loved, beyond any human comprehension. He not only laid His life down in “martyrdom” like many saints have. He laid down His very essence. The eternally Holy Son became a curse, became sin, suffered spiritual death for mankind. Jesus,when He walked the earth demonstrated Gods Love for man, by healing all who were oppressed by the Devil.
Always remember there is no separating supernatural healing and deliverance and The Love of God. Every time The Lord heals and delivers through you, you are demonstrating The Love of God and showing the enemy to be a liar.
