I do not usually make personal post on here, however, I had it in my heart that maybe somebody will read this and be encouraged in their own march.
The first week was kind of tough, but went really well. I like it a lot there. Had to fight through some disappointment of where I ended up after working so long, praying for and sowing for a destination that looked nothing like where I am at. But, when the children of Israel left Egypt, the few stops on the way to the promised land, was not the promised land.
I find myself having to stay focused on the good things. A new job, that is FT and that I have great co-workers at. I am healthy, for the most part, LOL. My wife and kids are happy and healthy, SO LIFE IS GOOD.
I have not given up on the vision The Lord put in my heart. To even think about it is kind of hard, so maybe I will just have to put it on the shelf until He brings it to pass. Even typing this caused me to tear up a bit, but that is that old disappointed, victim mentality.
Bottom line is, God waste nothing. People may not come through for us. They may not be willing to help us where we are in need, although we labor for them where they are in need(BTW that is what covenant relationship is) God sees all, and ultimately, all things work together for Good for those who love God and are called according to His Purposes.
I will someday stand on ground that The Lord has called me to and declare His Kingdom in Power and demonstrations of The Spirit. Not to draw attention to myself, but to Jesus Christ. To declare His Will, while He works with me to confirm The Gospel with accompanying signs. To be a vessel that opens the eyes of those bound by The Devil. To continue His Ministry, not make my own.
Acts 10:34-38 (NKJV)
Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him.
The word which God sent to the children of Israel, preaching peace through Jesus Christ—He is Lord of all— that word you know, which was proclaimed throughout all Judea, and began from Galilee after the baptism which John preached:how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.
Mark 16:14-20 (NLT)
Still later he appeared to the eleven disciples as they were eating together. He rebuked them for their stubborn unbelief because they refused to believe those who had seen him after he had been raised from the dead.
And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned. These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages. They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed.”
