He Loves You Day 12
In prayer today, The Lord reminded me why He had me take this journey. It wasn’t to try and come up with a new blog post every day. It wasn't to try and do a works type 40 day journey of prayer.
He wanted me to take time to seek Him. He wanted me to take time to seek His Voice, His Will, and most importantly, His Love.
The Lord loves us so dearly. He is intimately concerned and interested in the health of your heart. So many times we get so involved in what we are doing, that we forget, He really does love us with a love that is unexplainable in human terms.
He hovers over us with care and warmth. He has been hovering over us before we were formed in our mother’s womb. Get a picture of The Lord looking over you, with His Ears open and attentive to your voice, His Eyes gazing upon you with great love and power.
I know it is hard to picture this when many of us have been through some difficult times in life. Circumstances can cause us to forget how loving our Father in Heaven truly is.
At times I question The Lord about this truth. When I hear Him whisper "I am with you", there are times that I look up and say "that doesn’t really help right now, I am glad you are with me, but you could fix this to".
I am so glad that He understands every part of us. That He sees everything, every thought, every whisper of the heart. He hears the stirring of our souls and the sighs of our infirmities. We stand before him completely naked, nothing hidden, yet we do not need to be ashamed for even a moment, if we have confessed our sins and laid them at His Throne of Grace.
It should be a comfort to every Christian, whether you are a seasoned saint, with a level of victory and freedom over the flesh, or a New Christian, fighting the good fight, and still struggling to overcome, more and more, that Our Lord sees all and He still hovers lovingly over us.
Let Him reveal to you today His Great Love.
Even with some of the things surely to come to pass on Earth, remember He Loves YOU. If you have been born again, YOU are not destine for wrath, like the children of wrath.You are destine to spend eternity learning of, and experiencing His Great Love and Mystery.
Romans 8:31-39
New King James Version (NKJV)
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written:
“For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
