My heart went out tonight to the faithful servant warriors that already serve the poor, the fatherless, the widows and the prisoners.
As I considered the men and women that serve in the ministry that distributes food and ministers to the poor, in the church I attend here, I saw them as proven, ready vessels for The Power and Love of Christ to flow through.
A poem didn't rise up, just a simple but powerful declaration, not only for them, but for the missionaries and servant warriors all over this planet!
That the unquenchable anointing of God would fall upon them like a cloak and flow out of them like a river!
That as they serve, the gifts that reside within them would begin to flow out powerfully and The Hand of God would rest upon them...to bring a Double Portion of Gods Mighty Power and Love to those who are being ministered to.
This is The Double Portion, that will cause all who are oppressed by the enemy to be healed and set free.
I thank You Father that the anointing within your people will flow powerfully and freely, even as Your Mighty Spirit, Your Sovereign Hand rest upon your people, and Your plans and purposes!
Thank You for The Blood of Jesus that has redeemed us and made us your children!
In Jesus Holy Name!
Mark 16:15-20
15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
19 So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. 20 And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.[c]
