He Defeated The Power of Death

There has been a lot of loss and pain lately to my relatives and people I know. Many times the question is asked why? Why does healing and restoration come to one and not another? Why does death seem to take those we cherish the most?

It is especially hard when death comes out of time, too young or in a tragic way. Sometimes there are natural answers, sometimes there are really no answers. For those of us that believe healing and miracles are for today, and even have seen them or experienced them, these questions can be even harder to deal with.

Some religious faith folk will give the text book answer about being in faith, standing in faith, say they didn't have enough faith. Well, they are just foolish, really immature, and kind of hard hearted.

I know at least a few people who would want to lay hands on a person if they said something like that to them. I have seen mighty men of God that are full of faith, lose children and loved ones to untimely deaths as well as those who through foolish living and actions lose their lives too soon.

The bottom line is that the enemy is cruel and his hatred for mankind is raging. Death that comes too soon sucks, and death itself, has had mankind in bondage, since The Fall when death came to man(Death was already here, before the fall, before man, it just came to man through the fall).

This is The Good News. This is The Gospel. You no longer have to fear death. You know longer have to be bound by it, for Jesus defeated Death,Hell and The Grave. His victory was so complete that The scriptures say:

"Oh death where is thy victory oh grave where is thy sting",
 and in another place:
"... that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil; and might deliver those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives (Hebrews 2:14-15).

You see The Lord hates pain and death as much as you do and He paid a very high price to give us victory over it. Even when these bodies die, we can live on for eternity in Glory and Peace, if we have accepted Gods sacrifice for sin, Jesus.

Do you KNOW where you will go if you were to die today? If not, you can. The WORD says that in the last days all who call upon the NAME OF THE LORD(Jesus) shall be saved.

Jesus said: That NO MAN can come unto The Father, but through ME.

Just something to think about.

Prophetic Intercession

There is a type of prayer, a type of intercession, that connects so deeply with the heart of The Lord that the prayer becomes a mighty prophetic utterance to and for the nations.

I ask you to set some time apart to pray, get quiet before The Lord then read the Book of Habakkuk. Open your heart to the relationship between Habakkuk and The Lord. See how The Lord used the cry of Habakkuk's heart to speak His Will into The Earth.

I believe with all my heart that the appointed time is now. I believe that The Lord is about to do a mighty thing in The Nations that will astound many, and yes cause many to fear greatly.

Listen carefully to what He is saying in His response to Habakkuk.

The cry for the oppressed and against the oppressors has gone out since the Blood of Able cried out from the ground. The culmination of all things is upon the earth, the fulfillment of every prophecy concerning the closing moments of time will begin to unfold rapidly. Prepare your hearts, and heed the warning of The Lord.  Trust in Him. Always seek righteousness and don't side with the devil in order to protect yourself. Trust Him.

Habakkuk 1

New King James Version (NKJV)
The burden which the prophet Habakkuk saw.

The Prophet’s Question

Lord, how long shall I cry,
And You will not hear?
Even cry out to You, “Violence!”
And You will not save.
Why do You show me iniquity,
And cause me to see trouble?
For plundering and violence are before me;
There is strife, and contention arises.
Therefore the law is powerless,
And justice never goes forth.
For the wicked surround the righteous;
Therefore perverse judgment proceeds.

The Lord’s Reply

“Look among the nations and watch—
Be utterly astounded!
For I will work a work in your days
Which you would not believe, though it were told you.
