Be sober! Be on guard! Be vigilant!
Blind Faith, Untested Faith, Fare Weather Faith will not stand when you come to the place where it seems He will not come through, there will be no miracles, there will be no breakthrough. Some people say Raw Faith is needed, got to be a faith man!!! Sometimes I wonder if these people have ever been really tested.
The faith that is needed at this point is simple faith, when year after year has turned, season after season has changed, prayer after prayer seems to have fallen to the ground for yourself, yet have produced a harvest for others.
You have tried everything to change things. You have done all you know to do. You have gone over in your mind a million times what you could have done differently, what you did right,what you did wrong. Did you make God mad about something..did you miss it.
The only conclusion your natural mind can come up with is that He doesn't care. That those things that are precious to your heart,good things, deep things about family and life, that you have sown for and stood for, are not coming. So many can't come, the time has past, and nothing can bring that season back. So why bother???????
Why bother praying any longer for The Body? Why bother going to church? Why bother caring and praying for people that already walk in those things that are seemingly being with held from you.
There are many text book answers to these questions. Many will answer these questions with an answer that you have heard over and over. Some will say it is self focus, just look outside yourself, love others. All would be true, but none fill the void of those things that your heart longs for, that your soul needs.
So it comes down to just simple faith and three questions.
Is He Good?
Is He faithful?
Is His WORD True?
Yes. So we stand.
We may stand with many tears, but we stand.
We may stand and be angry, but we stand.
We may stand and be hurt, but we stand.
We may stand and feel rejected, but we stand!
He will come through! He does care! He is Faithful! He has a plan! He is full of Grace! He will bring it to pass!!!!
So.....Be sober! Be on guard! Be vigilant!
Your enemy will use apathy and disappointment to lead you to a state of backsliding and destruction.
Take heart you are in good company!!!!
2 Corinthians 4:8-10
Amplified Bible (AMP)
We are hedged in (pressed) on every side [troubled and oppressed in every way], but not cramped or crushed; we suffer embarrassments and are perplexed and unable to find a way out, but not driven to despair;
We are pursued (persecuted and hard driven), but not deserted [to stand alone]; we are struck down to the ground, but never struck out and destroyed;
Always carrying about in the body the liability and exposure to the same putting to death that the Lord Jesus suffered, so that the [resurrection] life of Jesus also may be shown forth by and in our bodies.

Guard The Vision
An organization will take on the characteristics of its leader. It will draw people with like hearts and vision. This is also true for departments within an organization.
This is why it is so important for a leader to delegate leadership only to those with the same heart and vision. If not, as the organization grows, and more leaders are needed, the farther it will stray from the vision and heart that was given to its founder.
We see our landscape littered with denominations and institutions that, little by little, allowed the founders heart, and the vision God gave to them, to get swallowed up by other agendas and other visions.
Popularity won out over Gods vision. Financial numbers and goals won out over advancing into deeper things and more powerful experiences. Natural thinking won out over spiritual. Self protection, over advancement into uncharted territory.
It is of utmost importance that the founder and leaders of an organization guard and protect the vision and heart of that organization.
The path down a road that leads to it being lost is a gradual one and almost unnoticeable to those within it.
