Pray With Passion !!! Day 36

Pray Like Jesus and  Paul for The Body.

For HIS BODY!

For YOUR BODY!

With Passion !!!!

John 17

New King James Version (NKJV)

17 Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him. And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do. And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.

“I have manifested Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word. Now they have known that all things which You have given Me are from You. For I have given to them the words which You have given Me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came forth from You; and they have believed that You sent Me.

“I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours. 10 And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I am glorified in them.11 Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are. 12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Your name. Those whom You gave Me I have kept; and none of them is lost except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. 13 But now I come to You, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves. 14 I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 15 I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.17 Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. 18 As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. 19 And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth.

20 “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; 21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. 22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: 23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

24 “Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. 25 O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me. 26 And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.”

Colossians 1:3-17

New King James Version (NKJV)

We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of your love for all the saints; because of the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel, which has come to you, as it has also in all the world, and is bringing forth fruit, as it is also among you since the day you heard and knew the grace of God in truth; as you also learned from Epaphras, our dear fellow servant, who is a faithful minister of Christ on your behalf, who also declared to us your love in the Spirit.

For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10 that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; 12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. 13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.

Ephesians 1:15-23

New Living Translation (NLT)

15 Ever since I first heard of your strong faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for God’s people everywhere,16 I have not stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly,17 asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God. 18 I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance.

19 I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power 20 that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms. 21 Now he is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else—not only in this world but also in the world to come. 22 God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made him head over all things for the benefit of the church. 23 And the church is his body; it is made full and complete by Christ, who fills all things everywhere with himself.

Ephesians 3:14-21

New King James Version (NKJV)

For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— 19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Ephesians 6:17-20

New King James Version (NKJV)

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— 19 and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel,20 for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

Philippians 1:9-11

New King James Version (NKJV)

And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, 10 that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ, 11 being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

Colossians 4:2-4

New Living Translation (NLT)

Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart. Pray for us, too, that God will give us many opportunities to speak about his mysterious plan concerning Christ. That is why I am here in chains. Pray that I will proclaim this message as clearly as I should.

2 Thessalonians 1:11-12

New Living Translation (NLT)

11 So we keep on praying for you, asking our God to enable you to live a life worthy of his call. May he give you the power to accomplish all the good things your faith prompts you to do. 12 Then the name of our Lord Jesus will be honored because of the way you live, and you will be honored along with him. This is all made possible because of the grace of our God and Lord, Jesus Christ.

Faith--Day 35

This is another I found in my Drafts.

It just didn't do it for me when I wrote it.
Just wasn't "deep" enough for me. :)

But I sense what I write in the final four days of my journey will make it a perfect fit.

The final four days shall be good in Jesus Name!!!!

FAITH

As I sat and pondered, the ways of The Lord
I could not get pass something, from His Word

Why is Faith so important, so crucial, and rare?
Why does the lack of Faith, leave us trapped in a snare?

This is the mystery, that was hidden from my sight,
And I believe from The Spirit that this is right...

You see when man fell, so fell all created things
Mans being fell from grace, and death dealt its fatal sting

But there were some things present, that the fall could not touch
And therein lies the answers, to my pondering thoughts...

Things that were present, before the foundations of, THE NOW FALLEN WORLD
Were not affected by the fall, Like Faith, Wisdom, The Holy Spirit and The WORD!

So now, Faith is the substance of things Hoped for, but not seen
Get ready to shout out loud, my fellow redeemed....

Because, hidden in this, an ancient truth is revealed
What really is mans heart crying for, hoping, desiring to see..

But to be returned to The Garden, where he walked with The Father
To be free from the curse, and to have dominion and power

Now Faith, is a substance, that flows from before creation
And when tapped into,  it can return us to our original dominion

Why will a mountain move, when in faith we declare, and insist
Because in Faith, in Christ, we are returned to That Garden Mist

Where we are in dominion, over all the land
That the power God gave us, causes His Glory to be released, by our tongues and hands..

We started in Glory, and we will end there to
And by the things that couldn't be touched, we have not yet seen what God will do

Remember those things, untouched by The Fall
Faith, The Holy Spirit...and Gods Word above all.........

The Gifts of the Holy Spirit, allow us to freely move, in this fallen world
As if we were walking along, in The Garden with The Lord

And when the Body comes together, moving as one
Those gifts create a place, to stand in the place Adam did once

And that substance of Faith, flows us back to the Garden
Where we walked as Gods Children, in all the Dominion we were given

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of the unseen
And for what every man is longing, is to be back in the Garden, to be fully redeemed

The Coming Disaster, The Coming Need, The Coming Battle, The Coming Supply! Day 34

This was a post that I found in my drafts, that was written quite some time ago.
It seems right in The Spirit to Post it Now.........

I had a series of dreams the other day. Although parts of the dreams seemed scattered and confusing, there was a repeating theme throughout the dreams. A theme that The Lord made me dig into deeper in order to get the revelation of what He was speaking to The Church for the days to come.

I am purposely leaving some details out, because I believe they will just add obscurity to what The Lord wants to say to The Church. The Holy Spirit works through these broken vessels we have for minds and bodies, so it is no surprise that there would be a mix in the dream process. Also we have the old serpent that is always trying to add an element of confusion to every situation.

MAY The Lord help us to express His Will and Intentions for His Body in the days to come...........

Hay

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Not to be confused with straw.

Hay is fed when or where there is not enough pasture or range land on which to graze an animal, when grazing is unavailable due to weather (such as during the winter) or when lush pasture by itself is too rich for the health of the animal. It is also fed during times when an animal is unable to access pasture, such as when animals are kept in a stable or barn.

The Dreams

I was standing at a table with a picture in my hand. The picture was all cut up and placed in disorder like puzzle pieces. I was trying to convince the people there that the city was going to be destroyed; They would not take the warning, they would not listen, no matter how much I plead with them, no matter how much I cried, they just ignored me. The only thing I could make out in the picture pieces was Hay, like fields of hay.

I left that room and found myself on the side of a dark and rocky mountain path. I was crying out, lamenting deeply:

The entire city is going to be destroyed; the entire city is going to be destroyed”.

At that point, what appeared to be two tribal women, that looked very strange and very ungodly, came up to me and began to say “Come with us and we will give you pleasure. Come with us and we will give you pleasure”

I began to bend to the seduction, when instantly this small tribal man seemed to be attached to the front of me attacking me. More attackers came up the path. I fought my way through them until they were gone.

Littering the path, all the way down the mountain, were piles of armor that I had to push and cut my way through with a sword. It seemed that many warriors lost their armor on this path.

I then found myself on a large farm with a huge barn. There was hay everywhere. Many people were working the farm gathering the hay. I was there trying to convince a childhood friend that he could change his path, however he kept getting distracted and was afraid his commander would see him talking to me.

I was then in a field. There were many people gathered in this field. I was walking and talking with somebody, but I did not see who. We were in charge of bringing the workers together at this particular farm. Again there was hay everywhere; the hay was what we were gathering the people to harvest in.

In this field, there were groups of what appeared to be “indigenous” people. Like the benevolent form of the malevolent tribal people from the mountains. These people looked to be from different parts of the globe. They were gathering hay by themselves in groups. I looked over as to ask them to come meet us at the farm house for a meeting.

The person I was walking with, said to me.

“They will only come on their own terms”. These words settled in my heart. “They will only come on their own terms”.

As a large group gathered, made up of many nationalities and ethnic groups, in front of the little quaint farm house that was in this field, there was a sense of team work and purpose. It was a beautiful scene like the gathering of the saints, on a summer night.

This next dream that I had during this same sequence is very strange. But, it speaks to the mountainside experience with the seducing spirits (I believe that is what the women symbolized).

In this dream there was this creature that took the form of a woman, but her true form was this octopus looking creature that long blue glowing fingers. She was trying to figure out how to do things a human female would do, but her fingertips released such destructive power, she couldn’t seem to get it. She seemed very harmless, however was pressing me to allow her to show her naked form.

The Lord led me to pray over this. At first I thought it was a non-sense dream. However I was led to read about the blue ringed octopus, a creature I knew nothing about. I saw some pictures online that resemble this creature in the dream very much.

It is a small unassuming creature, very beautiful, but has one of the most deadly venom in the world. Very potent venom and the one who is bitten doesn’t even realize they have been bitten sometimes, because the bite is so small. There is no anti-venom for the bite.

I believe the armor that littered the mountain path were from Gods warriors that were bitten by those seducing spirits, whether they were ones that were obviously sinful, or ones that crept in as seducing spirits and doctrines of demons.

So how does this all come together.

What is The Lord trying to say to us?

There are the obvious things He is telling us. However what specific instruction is he giving so we can apply what he is saying to us now, on the ground?

There are two places in scripture that came up in my heart. I have always been one that believed that Prophetic Utterance is not used to its’ fullest potential these days. God wants to speak to us and give us specific instruction. Just like in these two accounts:

Genesis 41:25-36

25 Then Joseph said to Pharaoh, “The dreams of Pharaoh are one; God has shown Pharaoh what He is about to do: 26 The seven good cows are seven years, and the seven good heads are seven years; the dreams are one. 27 And the seven thin and ugly cows which came up after them are seven years, and the seven empty heads blighted by the east wind are seven years of famine. 28 This is the thing which I have spoken to Pharaoh. God has shown Pharaoh what He is about to do. 29 Indeed seven years of great plenty will come throughout all the land of Egypt; 30 but after them seven years of famine will arise, and all the plenty will be forgotten in the land of Egypt; and the famine will deplete the land. 31 So the plenty will not be known in the land because of the famine following, for it will be very severe. 32 And the dream was repeated to Pharaoh twice because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass.

33 “Now therefore, let Pharaoh select a discerning and wise man, and set him over the land of Egypt. 34 Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint officers over the land, to collect one-fifth of the produce of the land of Egypt in the seven plentiful years. 35 And let them gather all the food of those good years that are coming, and store up grain under the authority of Pharaoh, and let them keep food in the cities. 36 Then that food shall be as a reserve for the land for the seven years of famine which shall be in the land of Egypt, that the land may not perish during the famine.”

Acts 11:27-30
New King James Version (NKJV)

Relief to Judea

27 And in these days prophets came from Jerusalem to Antioch. 28 Then one of them, named Agabus, stood up and showed by the Spirit that there was going to be a great famine throughout all the world, which also happened in the days of Claudius Caesar. 29 Then the disciples, each according to his ability, determined to send relief to the brethren dwelling in Judea. 30 This they also did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul.

The Lord has drawn my attention to a Prophetic Word given by my Pastor about a return to the Dust Bowl in certain parts of our nations. As I studied and searched subject The Lord really began to speak to me.

The hay in the dreams led me to try and find a city that this may represent. I was trying to find what city He was having me cry out for. I didn’t find that, but what I did find was the significance of this city in the history of agriculture when it comes to hay and wheat. How farmers began to gather to discuss distribution, techniques, better ways to gather and disperse.

Click below for link:

http://www.nationalhay.org/history

I began to see a route as I looked at a map of the possible areas that may be affected by another dust bowl, a severe drought. What purpose would the hay have both naturally and spiritually? Hay for animals and livestock in these areas, to keep them alive as long as possible and also other supplies the hay may symbolize. Both natural supplies and spiritual support.

And what of the other countries represented, that “Will only come on their own terms”? Who are they? What role do they play? They were gathering, just on their own.

One country that I believe may be affected is Australia. The Blue ringed Octopus mentioned in the dream is native of the Great Barrier Reef. Australia is also feeling the effects of climate change in a large way. The Lord highlighted the massive dust storm that enveloped Sydney not long ago.

I pray that if The Lords leads, He will open the eyes of our understanding fully in these things. For me to try and explain fully what He is trying to say would be arrogant and would do The Holy Spirit a dis-service.

I will conclude with title of this prophetic word/dream and a short exhortation:

The Coming Disaster, The Coming Need, The Coming Battle, The Coming Supply!

This about says it. There is coming a DISASTER that will displace people. Leave people, lands and livestock in a great place of NEED. The enemy will try and use the pain and sorrow of this disaster to lead Gods warriors and His people away, to find shelter in pleasure and doctrines of demons, many will fall and lose their armor and flee naked. However!!! Many will BATTLE, win and enter into the fields, to bring in, and disperse a harvest of SUPPLY.

I believe that Syracuse and the church in Syracuse will play a significant role in organizing, planning, and dispersing supplies and ministers. I see supply routes both naturally and spiritually from here to places like Joplin, MO. Oklahoma and Kansas. AND BEYOND. Just like it did in the 1800’s for agriculture.

(If you are reading this from another city or nation, you can intercede for your city and church to be a refuge in a time of trouble.)

They gathered here first:

Again this scripture:

Acts 11:27-30

27 And in these days prophets came from Jerusalem to Antioch. 28 Then one of them, named Agabus, stood up and showed by the Spirit that there was going to be a great famine throughout all the world, which also happened in the days of Claudius Caesar. 29 Then the disciples, each according to his ability, determined to send relief to the brethren dwelling in Judea. 30 This they also did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul.

Israel and The Timing of God--- Day 30

The recent news of the peace talks will most likely stir up many blog post about prophecy.

Many will be the same rehash of past prophecies, all will only be confirming what The Word has already revealed.

So, this post will be no different., except in this one point concerning how we see this period of time we are in and about to enter.

As the church we want to take this time to be the church. Not to point out all we think is happening behind closed doors, not to focus extremely and only on the shaking that is about to come, because of the pressure that is and will be put on Israel, but to begin to march forward, tearing down strongholds and the gates of hell with a new vision and a new end time motivation.

To march toward the finish line, with the end in mind. Removing every weight, sin and hindrance, so that we can be a quick reaction force and a MASH unit for those engaged in The Great Commission.

This will take some changes in the way many churches train, support and send ministers. This will take a change, a radical change in how churches distribute finances in regards to luxury and top heavy salary structures.

We need to be sober minded, and understand what is important, what is essential, and what may have been okay in the last dispensation, but will not work in the closing moments of this Age.

This past week there was a change in The Spirit. I know this by The Spirit. Don't take what The Lord says lightly in the weeks ahead. They will be specific marching orders.

Remember what is done in secret will be shouted from the rooftops. No matter what man may say or demand.

The Presence of The Lord and Supernatural Harvest ----Day 29

I heard a minister give a powerful word on the scripture below. Once I can get his name, I will post it on here. He is a Bishop at Christ Church.

What can you put before The Lord, that may even seem dried up and dead, so that He can produce a supernatural harvest on your behalf?

Notice that in one night, not only were all the stages of harvest completed, but a dead rod produced full almonds in The Presence of The Lord.

So my friend, bring all those things before The Lord that you have been waiting on, even those things that you thought were dead, even prophetic words spoken, that you had given up on, and see what our Mighty God can do.

In His presence we are called upon to speak to the dead bones and see them live.
We are called to call those things that be not as though they were.

So place it in The Lord presence and watch how He can speed up seed time and harvest for you!!!

Numbers 17:7-8

New King James Version (NKJV)
And Moses placed the rods before the Lord in the tabernacle of witness.

Now it came to pass on the next day that Moses went into the tabernacle of witness, and behold, the rod of Aaron, of the house of Levi, had sprouted and put forth buds, had produced blossoms and yielded ripe almonds.

Transformations:When God Comes To Town-- Day 28

The first story in this video was played during PrayerFest, at Christ Church in Rockaway NJ, this weekend. It is roughly 23 minutes long.

Do not miss what The Spirit of The LORD is saying to us, now and here.

The Lord has left everyone of us without excuse to lack faith in Him, His Word and Prayer.
There are examples in The Bible that leave us without excuse to fear what situation is set before us in ministry.

One is The Madman of The Gadarenes. Unless you have a person in front of you that is more demonically oppressed than he was, or more mentally ill than he was, then you have no excuse to not believe that God can and will set them free.

The other is Lazarus. Unless there is somebody in front of you that needs more of a healing and physical miracle than Lazarus, who was dead in the grave for three days and rotting, God can and will heal them.

The story below is like that for me. We have no reason to ever say that God cant turn a city around and bring miraculous deliverance to it and The Church, through Intercessory Prayer!

The Name Of The LORD- Days 23-27

I have accumulated many scriptures that touched my heart. They are placed in order but also placed in order according to what I was sensing in The Spirit.

This will be the last post for a few days. For anyone who is following this, there is enough scripture and revelation to last an eternity.

The Lord is not pleased with how His name has been made a mockery and a marketing tool by far too many.

He will sanctify His Holy Name. He will cause His Name to Highly Regarded/Feared among The Nations.

In both the Old and The New Testament, great emphasis is put on His Name.

His Name and Demonstrations of His Power, Mercy, Love, Faithfulness, Glory, are ONE.

He not only enjoys doing things for His people to bring glory and honor to His Name, He commands His people to have faith in His Name and demonstrate that faith before the world

The Gentiles in The Old Testament and The World in The New Testament. For His Name Sake

We have often thought the command to do things in Jesus Name was only an act of invoking His Authority. I pray from these scripture and The Holy Spirit, you will see using His Name, doing things in His Name, is all about bringing Glory to His Name!

Not for our name sake, not for our reputation sake, not for our ministries sake. But for His Name sake.

It brings more revelation to the scripture that says you receive not because you ask amiss, with the wrong motives, to spend on your own desires, for your own name, one could say.

The first two scriptures are the scriptures that The Lord highlighted clearly to me, that led me to be troubled in my spirit and excited in my heart.

Troubled for those who have profaned His Name, for the lack of Power demonstrated in His Name, because of no faith and selfish gain.

Excitement for the days to come when we return to honoring and demonstrating The Glory,Wonder and Power that is IN HIS MIGHTY NAME!!!

Father give us a fresh revelation of The Power and Glory that abides in The Name of Jesus!

The Name above every Name in Heaven and in Earth, for it is Your Name!!!!

Open the eyes of our understanding! So that we may see what The Spirit of The Lord is saying!

Ezekiel 36:20-23

New King James Version (NKJV)
20 When they came to the nations, wherever they went, they profaned My holy name—when they said of them, ‘These are the people of the Lord, and yet they have gone out of His land.’

21 But I had concern for My holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations wherever they went.

22 “Therefore say to the house of Israel, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “I do not do this for your sake, O house of Israel, but for My holy name’s sake, which you have profaned among the nations wherever you went.

23 And I will sanctify My great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst; and the nations shall know that I am the Lord,” says the Lord God, “when I am hallowed in you before their eyes.

John 14:12-14

New King James Version (NKJV)

12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. 13 And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

Genesis 4:26

New King James Version (NKJV)
And as for Seth, to him also a son was born; and he named him Enosh. Then men began to call on the name of the Lord.

Exodus 20:7

New King James Version (NKJV)

“You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.

For I proclaim the name of the Lord:
Ascribe greatness to our God.

For all His ways are justice,
A God of truth and without injustice;
Righteous and upright is He.

1 Kings 18:24-40

New King James Version (NKJV)

24 Then you call on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the Lord; and the God who answers by fire, He is God.”
So all the people answered and said, “It is well spoken.”

25 Now Elijah said to the prophets of Baal, “Choose one bull for yourselves and prepare it first, for you are many; and call on the name of your god, but put no fire under it.

26 So they took the bull which was given them, and they prepared it, and called on the name of Baal from morning even till noon, saying, “O Baal, hear us!” But there was no voice; no one answered. Then they leaped about the altar which they had made.

27 And so it was, at noon, that Elijah mocked them and said, “Cry aloud, for he is a god; either he is meditating, or he is busy, or he is on a journey, or perhaps he is sleeping and must be awakened.”

28 So they cried aloud, and cut themselves, as was their custom, with knives and lances, until the blood gushed out on them. 29 And when midday was past, they prophesied until the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice. But there was no voice; no one answered, no one paid attention.

30 Then Elijah said to all the people, “Come near to me.” So all the people came near to him. And he repaired the altar of the Lord that was broken down. 31 And Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, to whom the word of the Lord had come, saying, “Israel shall be your name.”

32 Then with the stones he built an altar in the name of the Lord; and he made a trench around the altar large enough to hold two seahs of seed.33 And he put the wood in order, cut the bull in pieces, and laid it on the wood, and said, “Fill four waterpots with water, and pour it on the burnt sacrifice and on the wood.”

34 Then he said, “Do it a second time,” and they did it a second time; and he said, “Do it a third time,” and they did it a third time. 35 So the water ran all around the altar; and he also filled the trench with water.

36 And it came to pass, at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near and said, Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, let it be known this day that You are God in Israel and I am Your servant, and that I have done all these things at Your word.

37 Hear me, O Lord, hear me, that this people may know that You are the Lord God, and that You have turned their hearts back to You again.”

38 Then the fire of the Lord fell and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood and the stones and the dust, and it licked up the water that was in the trench.

39 Now when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces; and they said, “The Lord, He is God! The Lord, He is God!”

40 And Elijah said to them, “Seize the prophets of Baal! Do not let one of them escape!” So they seized them; and Elijah brought them down to the Brook Kishon and executed them there.

Causing them to err.

And lean on the God of Israel;
The Lord of hosts is His name:

For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines and troubles. These are the beginnings of sorrows.

“But watch out for yourselves, for they will deliver you up to councils, and you will be beaten in the synagogues. You will be brought before rulers and kings for My sake, for a testimony to them. 10 And the gospel must first be preached to all the nations.

11 But when they arrest you and deliver you up, do not worry beforehand, or premeditate what you will speak. But whatever is given you in that hour, speak that; for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit. 12 Now brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death.

13 And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end shall be saved.

19 So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.20 And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.

46 Then He said to them, “Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, 47 and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. 48 And you are witnesses of these things. 49 Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.”

50 And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them. 51 Now it came to pass, while He blessed them, that He was parted from them and carried up into heaven. 52 And they worshiped Him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy, 53 and were continually in the temple praising and blessing God. Amen.

16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. 17 These things I command you, that you love one another.

25 “These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; but the time is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but I will tell you plainly about the Father. 26 In that day you will ask in My name, and I do not say to you that I shall pray the Father for you; 27 for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me, and have believed that I came forth from God. 28 I came forth from the Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go to the Father.”

John 20:30-31

New King James Version (NKJV)

New King James Version (NKJV)

Miracles Glorify Christ

11 Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, 12 so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them.

13 Then some of the itinerant Jewish exorcists took it upon themselves to call the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying, “We exorcise you by the Jesus whom Paul preaches.” 14 Also there were seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, who did so.

15 And the evil spirit answered and said, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?”

16 Then the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, overpowered them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

17 This became known both to all Jews and Greeks dwelling in Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.

18 And many who had believed came confessing and telling their deeds. 19 Also, many of those who had practiced magic brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all. And they counted up the value of them, and it totaled fifty thousand pieces of silver.20 So the word of the Lord grew mightily and prevailed.

Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.

John, to the seven churches which are in Asia:

Grace to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne, 5 and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth.

To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.
