Spiritual Warfare-Prayer

This is an Iron Dome Unit and a Tomahawk Missile. Prayer can be used as a Defensive and Offensive Weapon. Let those called to advance The Kingdom of Heaven, take our place among the ranks. Like Davids Mighty Men of Valor, let us defend our fields and take the land we are called to take!

Let us be the one that say: "Not on our watch" , to the enemies that would try and thwart Gods plan and take out His people.

Philippians 4:6-7(NKJV)

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

2 Corinthians 10:3-5(NKJV)

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,

Hebrews 4:12 (AMP)

12 For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.

The Bar and The Church

When we walk in the spirit we see things a bit differently than most people. I found myself in a bar last night night, no I have not back-slidden, I was there with family to watch my wife's Grandfather sing a song. He is in town from Florida and loves to Karaoke.

This particular bar was right down the street from the restaurant we went out to eat at in Solvay, NY.  As I stood there I could sense a spirit there, almost  watching me, not really trying to tempt me, but just hovering around wondering what I was doing there.

As I stood there I could also hear The Lord begin to speak to my heart about that place and places like it. He began to show me things about the people there, the people who have been there and many of the people who frequent bars.

I understand what He showed me doesn't fit everyone, and I am in no way judging anyone for going to a bar. However I do feel led to share what He spoke to my heart.

He began to show me this place and the church. He began to show me how many come to the bars to refresh themselves in a way. Many at the end of the week go there to shake off the pressures of life, relax, have a few drinks to relax, maybe get a little drunk and have fun.

I saw the Church as well. Those of us who know what it is like to be filled with The Spirit and sense the anointing know how refreshing it is and how The Holy Spirit comforts us and strengthens us at the end of a tough week.

He again showed me how many seek this type of thing at bars. However He then began to show me the dark side of it. He spoke to me these words:

How many have walked in here during a dry season of their marriage, whether it be a dry season sexually, emotionally, seasons all marriages will face from time to time, and destroyed their marriage in this place. How many families have been broken because a man our women sought an escape in this place.

How many lives ruined, destinies changed, and even  lives ended leaving places like this. All because they sought comfort in a place that offered a temporary comfort in the wrong place.

I am now writing from my spirit man. I see again The Church and what she is meant to be to a hurting and thirsty world. Think about some of the things Jesus said and what is said in The Word about The Lord and The Church:

"Come unto me all you who are burden, feeling the worlds pressures and feel the weight of sin and life and I will give you rest, for my burden is light and my yoke is easy."

"All who drinks of the my well will never thirst again"

"Cast all your care upon The Lord"

Throughout The Gospels and The Book of ACTS we see a demonstration of what The Church is supposed to be demonstrating to The World. A place of healing, comfort, safety and refuge.

We are to be a place, where those who The Lord draws, can come and experience His very real presence and be touched by His Holy Spirit as He continues to save, heal and set those in bondage free.

Believers should be coming, expecting The Lord to continue His ministry to them, and through them, to those He draws. Married couples who are in one of those dry seasons can come and be filled with joy and contentment in His presence and learn to love each other unconditionally, no matter if, for a time, "their needs" are not being "met".

The Church is supposed to be a place full of life and power, love and strength. The Word should be preached and taught by those who believe it and expect it to be Alive and Actively powerful, full of ability and strength, able to divide between the soul and spirit and show each person the true intents of their own hearts so God can heal and instruct them in His ways.

What does this all have to do with the few moments I spent in that little bar?? I am not sure, but The Lord will speak to somebody through this, maybe save a marriage, a family, a life. Or just use it to introduce somebody to Himself and draw them to himself.

We have a responsibility to make sure that His House stays, or in some places, returns to being a place of salvation, healing, deliverance and a place where Heaven invades Earth!!!

Your Kingdom Come by Daniel Kolenda

I had to post this book on my blog. It is one of the best books on prayer and intercession that I have read. It is simple, yet powerful, short, yet filled with so much that note takers will come away with many nuggets of wisdom.

Here is a short excerpt from the book:

"In order for us to seize the moment that God has given to our generation, it is going to require a strategic, divine alliance between soul-winners and intercessors who will unite around the agenda of Jesus- to seek and to save those who are lost."

Words of Power!

The gift of creative speech was only given to man. Our words have power. Every war was started by the words of man. Every life path whether good or bad was strongly influenced by the words spoken over that person. All teaching comes through words spoken, written or demonstrated. Creative words or destructive words are what shape lives, families, cities and nations.

Take that into account when you think about the awe inspiring gift that Christ bestowed upon us as The WORD of God made flesh. He gave all who accept Him and are washed by His Blood open access to The Throne of God. A redeemed man or woman can use their Words to stand before Gods throne, receive Gods Will in Heaven and then speak it into The Earth.

We have been given the commission to use words to preach The Gospel to every creature. We have been commanded to ask, expecting to receive. We have been drafted into an army that uses His WORD, spoken and declared by our mouths(our words) to expose, decimate the Kingdom of Darkness, by declaring Freedom to The Captives and Telling them The Kingdom of Heaven has come!!!!

Speak His WORD! Pray His WORD!! See His WORD manifest His GLORY!

Peace Of Christ

The Lord brought to my attention the scriptures below while speaking to me about having peace in a time of trouble. He showed me the importance of The Church and her leaders understanding that while the nations may rage, while governments and the world may become chaotic and fearful, He has given us all we need to meet every need in peace.

From that place of peace we will be able to be a refuge by pointing toward the One who is the Only Safe Place(Psalm 91). He also will supply all we need both naturally and supernaturally to meet every need, both spiritually and physically.

Luke 2:41-49
New King James Version

41 His parents went to Jerusalem every year at the Feast of the Passover. 42 And when He was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem according to the custom of the feast. 43 When they had finished the days, as they returned, the Boy Jesus lingered behind in Jerusalem. And Joseph and His mother did not know it; 44 but supposing Him to have been in the company, they went a day’s journey, and sought Him among their relatives and acquaintances.

45 So when they did not find Him, they returned to Jerusalem, seeking Him. 46 Now so it was that after three days they found Him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both listening to them and asking them questions. 47 And all who heard Him were astonished at His understanding and answers. 48 So when they saw Him, they were amazed; and His mother said to Him, “Son, why have You done this to us? Look, Your father and I have sought You anxiously.”

49 And He said to them, “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?”

Matthew 14:25-32
New King James Version

25 Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea. 26 And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out for fear.

27 But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.”
28 And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.”

29 So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. 30 But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!”

31 And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” 32 And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased.

Mark 4:35-39 New King James Version

35 On the same day, when evening had come, He said to them, “Let us cross over to the other side.” 36 Now when they had left the multitude, they took Him along in the boat as He was. And other little boats were also with Him. 37 And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. 38 But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?”

39 Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.

Mark 6:35-44
New King James Version

35 When the day was now far spent, His disciples came to Him and said, “This is a deserted place, and already the hour is late. 36 Send them away, that they may go into the surrounding country and villages and buy themselves bread;for they have nothing to eat.”

37 But He answered and said to them, “You give them something to eat.”
And they said to Him, “Shall we go and buy two hundred denarii worth of bread and give them something to eat?”

38 But He said to them, “How many loaves do you have? Go and see.”
And when they found out they said, “Five, and two fish.”

39 Then He commanded them to make them all sit down in groups on the green grass. 40 So they sat down in ranks, in hundreds and in fifties. 41 And when He had taken the five loaves and the two fish, He looked up to heaven, blessed and broke the loaves, and gave them to His disciples to set before them; and the two fish He divided among them all. 42 So they all ate and were filled. 43 And they took up twelve baskets full of fragments and of the fish. 44 Now those who had eaten the loaves were about five thousand men.

Psalm 91

New Living Translation

1 Those who live in the shelter of the Most High
will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

2 This I declare about the Lord:
He alone is my refuge, my place of safety;
he is my God, and I trust him.

3 For he will rescue you from every trap
and protect you from deadly disease.

4 He will cover you with his feathers.
He will shelter you with his wings.
His faithful promises are your armor and protection.

5 Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night,
nor the arrow that flies in the day.

6 Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness,
nor the disaster that strikes at midday.

7 Though a thousand fall at your side,
though ten thousand are dying around you,
these evils will not touch you.

8 Just open your eyes,
and see how the wicked are punished.

9 If you make the Lord your refuge,
if you make the Most High your shelter,

10 no evil will conquer you;
no plague will come near your home.

11 For he will order his angels
to protect you wherever you go.

12 They will hold you up with their hands
so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.

13 You will trample upon lions and cobras;
you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet!

14 The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me.
I will protect those who trust in my name.

15 When they call on me, I will answer;
I will be with them in trouble.
I will rescue and honor them.

16 I will reward them with a long life
and give them my salvation.”

Seeing Into The Next Age

There are times The Lord will give us a prophetic word or song and it applies to now. There are times it will apply to the near future. Then there are times when it will apply to now, the near future and the coming age.

This I believe is one of those "Words"

The Word says in Jude 1:14-15

14 Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, 15 to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.”

Rev 19:11-16 it says:

11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. 15 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:

KING OF KINGS AND
LORD OF LORDS.

I posted this song/poem the other day: Here it is again in light of the verses above.

I see, I see, a mighty, mighty army
I see, I see, them marching in victory

I see, I see, The Name of The Lord
I see, I see, an invasion into the nations of The World

I see, I see, their uniforms dripping with His Blood
I see, I see, His Spirit sending before them a Great Flood

I see, I see, the forces bowing before The Procession
I see , I see, they can not touch Gods Precious Possessions

I see , I see, the earth quaking beneath them
I see, I see, dead stones turning into Gems

Jesus! Jesus! Jesus! Jesus! We come in His Majesty's Name

Oh what more Lord, what more, as they march in Your Name
Oh what more Lord, what more, will they heal the blind sick and lame

Oh what more Lord, what more, as they declare your will
Oh what more Lord, what more, will the raging of the nations finally be stilled

What will I see, What will I see, at the end of this Great March
What will, I see What will I see, when your troops reach the City Arch

What will I see, what will I see, for ear has not heard, nor eye seen
What glorious victories you have prepared for Your Blood Bought Redeemed!

Jesus! Jesus! Jesus! Jesus! We come in His Majesty's Name

The Full Gospel

Social Justice is not the focus of The Gospel, although it is a benefit of the true Gospel. The main and only eternal focus of the Gospel is to get people saved from hell. To snatch them from the Kingdom of Darkness and show them The Kingdom of God. All Kingdoms rise and fall, this nation will one day fall, if The Lord shall tarry, and along with it the social outreaches as we know them. The Kingdom of God can not fall or falter.

In a day where this generation looks at the Church as a social center, we need to remember it does man no good to gain the whole world, money acceptance, equality, yet lose his own soul to hell. Preach The Gospel and The Full Word of God. Some will believe, some will believe, some will not, that is in Gods Hands.

It is mans decision whether they will lay down at the foot of the cross themselves, take up their cross and follow Christ. Don't sugar coat sin for one group or another. God showed his love for all men, no matter what particular sin they embrace and HE CALLS ALL MEN TO CHOOSE THIS DAY WHOM YOU WILL SERVE.

The Holy Spirit renewing the human heart is the only answer for everything that ills mankind.
