Great Confession When You "Take a Knee"

Great Confession When You "Take a Knee" (See previous post)

The Lord has given me Power and Authority of all the powers of Darkness.

I am filled, and anointed by God, with The Holy Spirit and Power, so that I can go about doing good and healing all who are harassed by the devil. I have been given the ability, power and authority to preach the good news to the poor, to proclaim to the captives that they are free, to lay hands on the sick and give sight to the blind, to cast devils out of and set free those who are oppressed and possessed.

I am a child of light!
A New Creature in Christ

I am Born Again,Blood Bought
And Filled with His Power and Might

Take A Knee!!!!

I watched a movie the other day that kind of bombed in The Box Office, but I liked a lot. It has some really great examples of how we can be led by The Holy Spirit and what to do when we seem to be under siege of the enemy and circumstances.

The Movie was "After Earth". I highly suggest it for every prayer warrior and person of faith. I don't want to give too much away for those who have not seen it, but I do feel led to mention two main aspects of the movie that we can use in our walk and our battles of faith.

One is how the main Character explains FEAR. How fear is an irrational thought of a future event that may or may not happen. That fear is a choice. Danger may be very real, but fear is a choice.

He teaches the one he is watching over to be in the moment, not to think about what is ahead, or what may happen, but to know his surroundings now, and that takes me to the next, and most important thing we can learn from this movie:

Take a Knee.

He tells the one he is watching over that when he is getting scared, when danger seems to be overcoming him, when emotions are winning out, to Take A Knee, calm down, take an inventory of himself, is he injured, what tools and weapons does he have at his disposal, what are his immediate surroundings. Not his emotions, his feelings or anything else, but what he has right now in this moment.

How many of us would avoid so much trouble, if, when we are faced with danger, real or imagined, we took a knee, hooked up with The Holy Spirit and took inventory of what He has given us.

What mistakes would be avoided, what would we have not run from. In one part of the movie as the main character is watching his son run from something, he has to yell at him to Take A Knee..he yells "You are running from NOTHING, There is NOTHING chasing you! Take A Knee!"

I know there are many things in my past, that if I would have just taken a knee, hooked up with God, forgot about what I was feeling, being tempted by, afraid of, I would have not made so many mistakes.

If you haven't seen the movie watch it in this light. Next time temptation or fear tries to overtake you, just take a knee,TAKE AN INVENTORY OF WHAT HE HAS MADE YOU AND GIVEN YOU(Speak His Word) get quiet with God in PRAYER, and do just what He says.

Some of you need to hear this right now(I know I did)
Don't do anything out of fear or uncertainty of The Future.

So?

TAKE A KNEE SOLDIER!! You are a Kneeling Warrior!       To help you along your way. I want to recommend the two books that I think go great together for those walking the walk. Both are on the sidebar to the right.

Holding Pattern

I haven't written anything in quite some time. I hope the videos are speaking to whoever still checks in here now and then.

I sense I am in a type of holding pattern, like when there is a back up of planes taking off from the airport. That is the picture I got in my spirit yeserday as I meditated on the last few weeks, and my, our future ahead. On the runway, in a holding pattern, waiting for our time to take off.

That is all I got today. God Bless The Body of Christ.

I leave you with this powerful chapter from ACTS......Until next time:

Acts 3

New Living Translation (NLT)

Peter Heals a Crippled Beggar

Peter and John went to the Temple one afternoon to take part in the three o’clock prayer service. As they approached the Temple, a man lame from birth was being carried in. Each day he was put beside the Temple gate, the one called the Beautiful Gate, so he could beg from the people going into the Temple.  When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for some money.

Peter and John looked at him intently, and Peter said, “Look at us!” The lame man looked at them eagerly, expecting some money. But Peter said, “I don’t have any silver or gold for you. But I’ll give you what I have. In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, get up and walk!”

Then Peter took the lame man by the right hand and helped him up. And as he did, the man’s feet and ankles were instantly healed and strengthened. He jumped up, stood on his feet, and began to walk! Then, walking, leaping, and praising God, he went into the Temple with them.

All the people saw him walking and heard him praising God. When they realized he was the lame beggar they had seen so often at the Beautiful Gate, they were absolutely astounded! They all rushed out in amazement to Solomon’s Colonnade, where the man was holding tightly to Peter and John.

Peter Preaches in the Temple

Peter saw his opportunity and addressed the crowd. “People of Israel,” he said, “what is so surprising about this? And why stare at us as though we had made this man walk by our own power or godliness? For it is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—the God of all our ancestors—who has brought glory to his servant Jesus by doing this.

This is the same Jesus whom you handed over and rejected before Pilate, despite Pilate’s decision to release him. You rejected this holy, righteous one and instead demanded the release of a murderer. You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead. And we are witnesses of this fact!

“Through faith in the name of Jesus, this man was healed—and you know how crippled he was before. Faith in Jesus’ name has healed him before your very eyes.

“Friends, I realize that what you and your leaders did to Jesus was done in ignorance. But God was fulfilling what all the prophets had foretold about the Messiah—that he must suffer these things. Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away.

Then times of refreshment will come from the presence of the Lord, and he will again send you Jesus, your appointed Messiah. For he must remain in heaven until the time for the final restoration of all things, as God promised long ago through his holy prophets. Moses said, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from among your own people. Listen carefully to everything he tells you.’ Then Moses said, ‘Anyone who will not listen to that Prophet will be completely cut off from God’s people.’

“Starting with Samuel, every prophet spoke about what is happening today. You are the children of those prophets, and you are included in the covenant God promised to your ancestors. For God said to Abraham,

‘Through your descendants all the families on earth will be blessed.’ When God raised up his servant, Jesus, he sent him first to you people of Israel, to bless you by turning each of you back from your sinful ways.”

The Powerful Light and Love of The Gospel.....

My heart cries out for those who are bound by Satan and SIN.

As the news of another baby being killed in a wicked act of violence my soul
was deeply troubled once again.

There is only ONE ANSWER,ONE SOLUTION, ONE Who can set the captives free
and bind the hands of the wicked.

I know The Lord has heard my cry for The Leaders of The Church to get a revelation and to be able to see and hear what The Spirit of The Lord is saying!

There is NO ANSWER except The Love,The Light, The Power and The Compassion of Christ being released in millions of hearts throughout the inner cities and rural areas of this nation!

A revival of the heart. The New Birth. The revelation of The Love of Christ.

No more mixture, time is short, the children deserve more, the bound deserve more, the captives shall be set FREE!

I am full of faith, that as you read the following verses you SHALL get a revelation of what The Spirit of The Lord is saying to The Church.

The Burning Light of Christ will penetrate the darkness of mans heart and bring forth a "Revival" of The Power and The Love of Christ!

The Powerful Light and Love of The Gospel

John 1:1-5
New Living Translation (NLT)

In the beginning the Word already existed.
The Word was with God,
and the Word was God.

He existed in the beginning with God.
God created everything through him,
and nothing was created except through him.

The Word gave life to everything that was created,
and his life brought light to everyone.

The light shines in the darkness,
and the darkness can never extinguish it.

John 1:1-5
Common English Bible (CEB)

In the beginning was the Word
and the Word was with God
and the Word was God.

The Word was with God in the beginning.

Everything came into being through the Word,
and without the Word
Nothing came into being.

What came into being
through the Word was life,
and the life was the light for all people.

The light shines in the darkness,
and the darkness doesn’t extinguish the light.

Romans 8:31-39
New King James Version (NKJV)

What then shall we say to these things?
If God is for us, who can be against us?

He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect?
It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns?

It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

As it is written:

“For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:31-39
New Living Translation (NLT)

What shall we say about such wonderful things as these?
If God is for us, who can ever be against us?

Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?

Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own?
No one—for God himself has given us right standing with himself.

Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us.

Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death?

(As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”])

No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.

No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Luke 4:14-19
New Living Translation (NLT)

Then Jesus returned to Galilee, filled with the Holy Spirit’s power. Reports about him spread quickly through the whole region. 15 He taught regularly in their synagogues and was praised by everyone.

When he came to the village of Nazareth, his boyhood home, he went as usual to the synagogue on the Sabbath and stood up to read the Scriptures. The scroll of Isaiah the prophet was handed to him. He unrolled the scroll and found the place where this was written:

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor.

He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released,
that the blind will see,

That the oppressed will be set free,
and that the time of the Lord’s favor has come.”

Isaiah 61:1-4
New King James Version (NKJV)

“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me,
Because the Lord has anointed Me

To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,

To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;

To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord,
And the day of vengeance of our God;

To comfort all who mourn,
To console those who mourn in Zion,

To give them beauty for ashes,
The oil of joy for mourning,

The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
That they may be called trees of righteousness,

The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”

And they shall rebuild the old ruins,
They shall raise up the former desolations,

And they shall repair the ruined cities,
The desolations of many generations.
